Walking shadows moving by morphic programmation.

The wonderful effects which this project helps you learn to create on your own are beautiful and extremely compelling.
BEAUTIFULY DONE! It inspired me to try my own. I failed few times. The main problem was to get the meaning of "add a frame"; I was looking for a frame all over, but saw none. The fact that your figures were in a frame (holder?) added to the confusion. It was very sweet when I finally got it. Thank you! I think that for beginners, like me, more detailed guide will a great gift.
I am constantly amazed at what you can do with Etoys and this is amazing. I agree with Avigail, a more detailed guide would be helpful. Perhaps an Event Theatre showing how you did it, for us visual thinkers. I like the process of discovery and constructing knowledge for myself, but frankly I'm not that smart and don't have the time to reconstruct all knowledge for myself. For something as cool as this some explanations on the meanings of things like "morphing" would be much appreciated.
Excellent! This is very useful for project authors. I can see you've already gotten your first mix-in on the showcase! The exposition is terrific and the results immediate. I will certainly be showing this for squeakland.
This is a well-written help file on creating realistic animations in Etoys. When I went to try it, though, I couldn't find the "morphing" category, so it would be helpful to add one page to the book bout where to find it.
New version. A bug corrected. New pages about morphism and creating intermediate frames.
Load this project, Open a viewer on a polygon or an object of the same family (line, arrow, curve...). The new category morphing will be in the list of categories. It will be present in your new projects, until you reload etoys. The easiest way to create your own project, is to delete the book and rename the projet morphing-tool saving it and using it for starting a new project. When saving answer yes to the question about change set to save the extra code.
