Very interesting. More description, both within the project itself and within the project info might be helpful.

I could kinda see what the project is doing after I clicked on "go" and running it for a few seconds. I could understand why the instructions are done in a book format but maybe an "about" tab on the edge that says "please click on the book for more instructions" would help.

I ran it "as is" and it seemed like it was creating a gray-scale image replica. While it might be a cool script, I gave up when reading the book -- too many steps.

looks like another miswiring, again connected to karl. must investigate.

Cool idea! Abe-san made a version where the data passing between the reader and writer is done via sound, and the writer convert the value to number by WorldStethoscope and draw it. A way to tell the mechanism of FAX.

I especially like the fact that this project gives instructions on how the coding works! I would have liked to see better instructions on how to try the other image that's part of the project. How do you move the reader to the second image so that you can draw it as well?

I had a problem with changing the source image. I could not just drop another image into the holder. Finally, I dragged out the first image and the reader circle, put in the fruit image and then on top of it the reader circle. That worked well.
