hi, I too can't do much with the midi player.
This project is using the built in midi player with a free midi file found on the web.

The easiest I have found for loading files is to use filelist from world menu and choose play with the midi player.. This opens the midi player with the file in it. Saving the project, will save the player with the file in it.

This is a very nice demo of midi possibilities in Etoys. And how did you do that? Most of what is going on is not immediately apparent (or not apparent at all), so some expliquer of how it was all put together would be a nice addition. But the end product is impressive.

Regarding my previous comment, written before I saw pad's comment -- I couldn't find the "built-in midi player" in Etoys 4 -- where is it?

Beautiful. It did take me a while to figure out where to begin. I just had to click a few of the buttons to figure it out.
